Jim Bacon

Managing Director | MNAEA

Having started his Estate Agency career in 2005, Jim has operated along the Sussex coast providing him with a wealth of knowledge and experience in property transactions in the area. In 2008, Jim studied at The University of Portsmouth - BSc(Hons) Property Marketing, Design & Business Management to enhance his academic focus of the commercial aspects of running an Estate Agency. This qualification, being a part of the National Association of Estate Agents, along with industry experience has put him in great stead for the launch of James & James Estate Agents. Jim has a particular interest in new build properties having successfully overseen several developments from start to finish which is an aspect of the business he thoroughly enjoys. Jim prides himself on being approachable and supportive to all those involved in the property selling or renting process. Happy clients = A happy Jim! Jim lives with his wife, young son and his mischievous Boxer dog Rory. He enjoys socialising with friends and family, time on the golf course and on the ski slopes in his spare time.

James Brock

Managing Director | MNAEA, ARLA

James started his Estate Agency career in 1996, having completed his Residential Estate Agency qualifications. James has continued to work in all aspects of the property world, from sales, lettings, property management, acquisitions, and auctions along with overseas purchases. This vast experience will help all clients navigate the most complicated of transactions. James prides himself on customer service, punctuality and being contactable at all times to deliver a service that is second to none. James lives in Goring-by-Sea with his wife, two daughters and his pet dog Billy! A keen triathlete, having completed a 140.6-mile triathlon comprising of a 2.4 mile open water swim, 112 mile bike ride followed by a 26.2 mile run. The dedication to training for such a big endurance event is mirrored in his professional life. James continually educates himself and is proud to be fully regulated by Propertymark . Giving all of his clients absolute peace of mind that they are dealing with a knowledgeable, professional and regulated Estate Agent.

Dan Killeen

Dan’s estate agency career spans almost 20 years, working for Independent and corporate agents as well as being a former Director of a Worthing based independent agency. Providing the best customer service and marketing standards are a crucial part of Dan’s core values as well as ensuring that Landlords are putting their rental properties in safe hands. Dan is always happy to help landlords grow existing portfolios as well as assisting tenants in finding a new home. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family as well as being a huge football and F1 fan.

Vikki Woodward

Having lived in Worthing all her life Vikki started her Estate Agency career in 2001 but with her family background in the Commercial Management, Block Management, Sales and Lettings industry decided to focus her attention on this specific area which she started in 2004. Vikki has built up a wealth of knowledge and understanding in the commercial industry, with the extra benefit of shortly working in a law environment, has been able to build great business relationships with clients who put their complete trust in her to deliver results, whether it being a small or large portfolio, she illustrates the ability to exceed her clients expectations. Being in the industry for over 20 years Vikki has experienced many changes in the market place, but excels in adapting to suit every clients requirements. Outside of work Vikki is a proud Mum of a very sporty teenage son and spends a lot of time standing on the side-line of a football pitch supporting her son’s school team together with his local club.

Nicholas Smith

Nick started his career in the property industry in 1998. Showing a passion and flare for property, and understanding the importance of delivering a first-class service, Nick was soon successfully running his own branch. Having worked for both corporate and independent estate agents, Nick realised his experience and talent was best positioned with a truly independent estate agent. James & James Estate Agents share the same ethos, which is why Nick is thoroughly delighted to be part of such a highly regarded team. Worthing has always been Nick’s home, and having been born and bred in the town, this gives him unprecedented knowledge of the area to pass on to both vendors and applicants alike. Outside of work, Nick loves spending time with Kerry and their three children and is a passionate Brighton & Hove Albion season ticket holder.

Aaron Baker

Aaron found he had a passion for property when he left school. After finishing college, he went straight in to agency in 2015 working for a local independent estate agent. Aaron grew up and was educated in Worthing, giving him an unprecedented knowledge of the area. He soon put this knowledge to great use as his career as an estate agent blossomed. He enjoys nothing more than helping people find their next dream home. Outside of work Aaron enjoys playing tennis, tinkering with his beloved classic Mini Cooper and is in the process of renovating his house where he lives with his fiancée Rosie in Worthing with their two cats.

Glen Bacon

Glen began his estate agency career in 1977 in Lancing. Between 1978 and 1989 he worked and managed branches in Goring, West Worthing and Durrington. In 1990 he founded his own independent agency and was very proud to see the number of branches expand to five including a vibrant lettings division. 2017 saw a merge allowing him to spend more time with his family (And a bit more time abroad!) Joining forces with his son Jim and James who was previously one of his branch managers, is a pleasure and a privilege. He looks forward to working with all the team at Goring and feels safe in the knowledge that in the world where there are many corporate entities, good old fashioned customer service, honesty, and integrity are paramount within the ethos of the company.

Jo Wood

Office Coordinator / PA |

Jo previously worked for digital marketing agencies and Rightmove.co.uk helping agents connect as many buyers and sellers as possible. She is extremely organised and ensures our processes are as efficient as possible. Jo moved to Worthing in 2014 and over time has worked hard on improving her property. She loves holidays in the sun, and in her spare time enjoys dog walking, cycling, gardening, and eating out in the local area.

Neil Fox

Independent Mortgage & Protection Advisor |

Neil has been working with James & James since their inception in June 2020. He has been in the mortgage business for 23 years now and previously worked in finance with Lloyds Bank. He can therefore use his wealth of experience to advise our clients on their various mortgage needs. Neil is a family man with 4 daughters and enjoys playing golf in his spare time as well as being a keen supporter of his local team Brighton and Hove Albion.

Rob Mills

Robert Mills is our 'in house' Domestic Energy Assessor. Rob will conduct your Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) Outside of Work Rob is a real dog lover and a big football fan.
